This course describes several useful interviewing techniques to keep both lawyers and clients on track and improve the effectiveness of the interview through a variety of circumstances.
We review how to best utilize the following techniques: breaking the ice, managing two or more clients, speed bumps, limited time, constraints, self-promotion, refocusing a client, and segues.
For each of these, we present the problem and multiple solutions, followed by an example of these solutions being employed.
You also have the opportunity to complete an exercise for each technique, enabling you to put your newfound skills to the test.
